About Yorkshire Seasiders

Spreading the message in the White Rose County

Welcome to the website of the Blackpool FC supporters group, Yorkshire Seasiders.
Founded in August 2003 at the Hilltop Hotel, Huddersfield, we are steadily growing in numbers, from our original meeting of 6 founding members, of whom a number can still be seen at meetings and away days.

The First Yorkshire Seasiders' meeting - August 2003

Meetings are held in several, easy to access by rail, public houses around North, South and West Yorkshire. We range in age from around 16 yrs of age to our older ‘silver’ members as well as having junior members, and it would be fair to say that there is a broad spectrum of skills and employment within the group.

The basic aim of the group is to bring together exiled fans of Blackpool FC in Yorkshire for social gatherings and to arrange travel to home and away games when possible. The club have twice run transport to Wembley to see The Pool triumph in the play offs, first against Yeovil in 2007 to reach the Championship and then again in 2010 to witness our finest moment for a long time and beat Cardiff City to reach the Premiership. We award our own ‘Player of the Season’ plaque at the clubs annual Presentation Night.

The group is open to anybody who lives in Yorkshire, from Sheffield to Scarborough, from Halifax to Hull. So if you've moved over the great divide and wanna catch up with other Seasiders then get in touch. Our aims are to meet up occasionally for the odd beer or three and share travel to home and away matches. Whatever really....we're more than open to suggestions.
